Football Recap: St. Rita Mustangs vs. Sandburg Eagles
St. Rita took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 27-17 win over the Sandburg Eagles. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs who have now won four games in a row dating back to last season.
Nick Herman was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
St. Rita will challenge Chicago Mt. Carmel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sandburg, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Homewood-Flossmoor at 7:00 p.m. on September 13th.
