Baseball Recap: Palo Verde Comes Up Short

If Palo Verde was riding high fresh off their 24-0 takedown of Santa Rita on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans lost 8-1 to the Safford Bulldogs on Monday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Palo Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Safford, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-10.

As of now, neither Palo Verde nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
