Softball Recap: Snook Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Snook Christian Academy was the 9-6 winner over Wilcox Academy when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 14-13 on Tuesday.

Lilly Lovin was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Hayes, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

Snook Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Wilcox Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Snook Christian Academy will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Aletheia Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 13.5 runs per game this season. Wilcox Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
