Volleyball Recap: Cherokee Starts Season with Win Against Cedar View Christian

Cherokee had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cedar View Christian Seahawks on Monday.

Cherokee was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10, 21-25, 25-23.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cherokee will take on North Greene at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar View Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Happy Valley at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
