Waverly's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lakewood, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waverly will welcome Everett at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakewood, they will host Western at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
