Soccer Game Preview: Nettleton vs. Itawamba Agricultural

The Nettleton Tigers will face off against the Itawamba Agricultural Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

After dropping their season opener at home, Itawamba Agricultural is headed out to face a Nettleton team ready to give their home crowd a win. Nettleton came up short against Mooreville on Tuesday, falling 7-0. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Nettleton struggled afterwards.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Itawamba Agricultural's offense. They lost 4-0 to Tupelo on Tuesday. Itawamba Agricultural haven't had much luck with Tupelo recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Nettleton suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Itawamba Agricultural in their previous matchup back in November of 2021. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
