Volleyball Game Preview: Southwest EC Eagles vs. Central Spartans

The Southwest EC Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Central Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Southwest EC came up short against Calexico on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Central made easy work of Imperial on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

While Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-16, 25-20.

Central pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Southwest EC, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-18.

Southwest EC suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Central in their previous matchup last Thursday. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
