Volleyball Game Preview: Avon Braves vs. Le Roy Oatkan Knights

Avon hasn't had much luck against Le Roy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Braves will head out to challenge the Oatkan Knights at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Avon got the win against Caledonia-Mumford by a conclusive 3-0. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Le Roy made easy work of Hornell on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Le Roy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Hornell to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-14.

Le Roy's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Avon, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Avon came up short against Le Roy in their previous matchup back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
