Basketball Recap: Morrow Takes a Loss

Morrow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northgate Vikings. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 82-80.

Despite the loss, Morrow still got an impressive performance from Dayton Harris, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of O'Neil Bruce, who earned nine points.

Morrow's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Northgate, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Coming up, Morrow will take on Newnan at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Morrow is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.2 points per game this season. Northgate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
