Recap: Vincennes Lincoln Alices vs. Evansville Central Bears
The Vincennes Lincoln Alices lost against the Evansville Central Bears back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Vincennes Lincoln ended up on the wrong side of a rough 65-42 walloping at the hands of Evansville Central. Vincennes Lincoln has struggled against Evansville Central recently, as their contest on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Evansville Central can attribute much of their success to Keaton Arrick, who went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 0 assists. Arrick set a new season high mark in rebounds with seven. Daveon Smith was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Vincennes Lincoln now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Evansville Central, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vincennes Lincoln will challenge Barr-Reeve at 11:45 a.m. on Friday. Hopefully Barr-Reeve focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday. As for Evansville Central, they will head out on the road to face off against South Spencer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. South Spencer will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 325th, while Evansville Central is ranked 154th).
