Volleyball Recap: Littleton Public Schools Beats Mullen for Their Eighth Straight Victory

Littleton Public Schools had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Mullen Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

While Littleton Public Schools won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-24.

Brady Wiggers paced Littleton Public Schools' offense, picking up 12 kills. Wiggers got some help from Beckett Fitzsimmons and his 18 assists. Fitzsimmons was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Littleton Public Schools' win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1. As for Mullen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
