Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Paisley Woods and Kherington Neikirk Lead Legacy to Victory

Legacy picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against the Seminole Ridge Hawks by a score of 2-0.

Leading Legacy to victory were Kherington Neikirk and Paisley Woods. Neikirk had 11 digs, while Woods had seven digs and one assist. That's the most digs Neikirk has posted since back in August. Sophia Spychalla also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Despite the defeat, Seminole Ridge had strong showings from Emma Ginther, who had 12 digs and three assists, and Tyler Warman, who had 11 assists and nine digs.

Legacy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Seminole Ridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Legacy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Boca Raton on the 27th. As for Seminole Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Ransom Everglades on the 27th.
