Volleyball Recap: Bridgeport Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bridgeport Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Trumbull Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hilltoppers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Bridgeport Central now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Trumbull, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bridgeport Central is set to face off against their familiar foe St. Joseph at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Trumbull will square off against rival Darien at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
