Volleyball Recap: Fruitport Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games + How To Watch

Fruitport had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Spring Lake Lakers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Lakers back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Fruitport found their leader in sophomore Porter Johnson, who had 14 digs and four assists. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Fruitport is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-13-1 record this season. As for Spring Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 11-18-2.

As of now, neither Fruitport nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
