It was a proper cat-fight when Ridgefield took on Masuk on Wednesday. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Panthers. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Ridgefield was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-15, 21-25, 25-23, 25-18.

When it comes to explaining why Masuk lost, don't look at Mary-Kate Boyle. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and two assists. Boyle is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Ridgefield and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Masuk, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

After both having extra time off, Ridgefield and Bridgeport Central will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Masuk, they will head out on the road to take on New Canaan at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
