Volleyball Recap: Copperas Cove Bulldawgs vs. Horn Jaguars
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Copperas Cove can now relate to. They fell just short of the Horn Jaguars by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Bulldawgs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2019.
KAITLYN URQUIDEZ paced Copperas Cove's offense, picking up 20 kills. URQUIDEZ got some help from AVERY ROBINSON and her 25 assists. Finally, ANN AKINDAYOMI and ERINN SEWELL kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked five attacks.
Horn found their leader in sophomore Shylah Taylor, who had 18 digs.
