Roosevelt hadn't done well against Dinuba recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Rough Riders narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Emperors 2-1. This was payback for the Rough Riders, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Dinuba, they moved to 12-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Roosevelt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Coalinga on the 4th. As for Dinuba, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Tulare Union on the 4th.
