Pierce scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Norfolk Catholic, 22-21. At the time, the Knights were ranked seventh in the state, while the Bluejays were 49th.

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pierce, who defeated seventh ranked Norfolk Catholic, 22-21.

Leading C1 District 4 in both passing and receiving yards, Wayne's Jalen Barry and Jared Anderson have proven to be a lethal combination. Barry has thrown for 806 yards this season, while Anderson has 13 catches for 292 yards. Jared Shakespaere from West Point-Beemer leads the league in rushing with 323 yards.

The Blue Devils' offense has scored 123 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Jeff Bellar's team has allowed only 105 on the year.

As it stands, the Knights are in second, while Wayne is in third.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Norfolk Catholic takes on Terry Beair's team. The Knights have allowed 105 points this season, while the Blue Devils have given up 121. Norfolk Catholic allowed 22 points last week as it lost to Mark Brahmer's team.
