Soccer Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

If Everett was feeling good fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Holt on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Grand Ledge Comets on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Everett of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Everett has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Grand Ledge, they now have a winning record of 6-5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everett will square off against Lumen Christi Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grand Ledge, they will host Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
