Volleyball Preview: Middletown Middies vs. Stebbins Indians

The Middletown Middies will square off against the Stebbins Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Middletown lost 3-0 to Edgewood on Tuesday. The Middies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Stebbins can finally bid farewell to their 31-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They put the hurt on West Carrollton with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Stebbins was generally in control, but really had to dig deep in the third set to get the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-22.

Katelyn Cardulla was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs.

Stebbins was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Middletown now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Stebbins, their win ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-11.
