The 2013 football season is complete and it has been a season filled with impressive single-game performances.
Prior to 2013, 21 passers had thrown for over 600 yards in a single game according to the National Federation of High Schools Record Book. In 2013 alone, 10 quarterbacks turned the trick, including leader Travis Quintanilla of Refugio, who became just the fourth quarterback in high school history to throw for over 700 yards in a game.
Meanwhile Grant Sherman of Kenton set a reported national record for passing completions in a game and Nate Drew of Chavez Academy set a national record for receiving yards in a game.
Following are the top performances in the nation this year, as reported to MaxPreps by the player's coach.
