Baseball Game Preview: Silverton Foxes vs. Woodburn Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Silverton will face off against Woodburn. The Foxes will look to defend their home field on Monday against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Silverton has three straight wins, Woodburn has 15 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Silverton had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Woodburn on Friday. The Foxes were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Foxes, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Woodburn's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Silverton, their victory bumped their record up to 16-5.
