Basketball Game Preview: Kingsbury Falcons vs. Memphis Central Warriors

Kingsbury is 0-6 against Memphis Central since January of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Kingsbury Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the Memphis Central Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Kingsbury is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 21st straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering and fell 67-21. Having soared to a lofty 60 points in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Memphis Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak two weeks ago. They fell just short of Fairley by a score of 60-57. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Warriors have suffered since November 30, 2024.

Memphis Central's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Kingsbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Kingsbury was dealt a bruising 78-26 loss at the hands of Memphis Central in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Kingsbury avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
