Baseball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton fell victim to Madison and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Redskins have suffered since April 21st.

This is the second loss in a row for Clinton and nudges their season record down to 11-14. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Madison, their win bumped their record up to 20-11.

Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison, they have already played their next contest, a 6-5 defeat against Onsted on the 30th.
