Volleyball Recap: Felton Grove Comes Up Short

Felton Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-14, 25-5.

Felton Grove's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Felton Grove will challenge rival Middle Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cardinal Gibbons is set to take on their familiar foe Holly Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
