Basketball Game Preview: Centennial Stars vs. Northland Vikings

Centennial is 0-10 against Northland since February of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Centennial Stars will take on the Northland Vikings in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated (Centennial has six wins , while Northland has three).

Centennial will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Mifflin, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Centennial came out on top against Mifflin by a score of 58-49 on Tuesday. The 58-point effort marked the Stars' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Northland strolled past Mifflin with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 62-46.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Northland, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Centennial came up short against Northland in their previous matchup back in January, falling 52-39. Can Centennial avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
