East Forsyth is a perfect 10-0 against Mount Tabor since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The East Forsyth Eagles will face off against the Mount Tabor Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row dating back to last season, East Forsyth turned things around against Eastern Alamance on Monday. They came out on top against Eastern Alamance by a score of 5-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). East Forsyth's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Allie Cox spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 11 Ks. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts.

Mary Schutt was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Schutt was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Ella-Ashleigh Fulp was a standout: she scored five runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was Alexa Babcock, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

East Forsyth's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Mount Tabor, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
