Soccer Game Preview: Meadowdale vs. Miami East

The Meadowdale Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Miami East Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meadowdale's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Meadowdale's offense. They came up short against Belmont on Wednesday, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Meadowdale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 587th, while Belmont are ranked 270th).

Meanwhile, Miami East also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 6-0 to Bethel on Monday. The loss continues a trend for Miami East in their meetings with Bethel: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meadowdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Miami East, they now have a losing record of 7-8-2.
