Basketball Recap: Box Elder Comes Up Short

Box Elder lost to West Field back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bees took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Field to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaden Fowers, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 17 points. The contest was Fowers' third in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Daxton Laughter, who posted 16 points.

Box Elder's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for West Field, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Box Elder and West Field will both be playing Fremont the next time they take the court. The Longhorns will head out to face the Silverwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bees will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
