Jordan Seiuli and Takara Rocha secure win for Skyline

Recap: Skyline Coyotes vs. San Luis Sidewinders

The Skyline Coyotes had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against San Luis on Thursday as Skyline made off with a 48-25 win. The win was just what Skyline needed coming off of a 76-18 loss in their prior matchup.

Leading Skyline to victory were Jordan Seiuli and Takara Rocha. Seiuli dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Rocha dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Rocha scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Amara Rocha, who scored four points along with six assists and four steals.

Despite the loss, San Luis still got an impressive performance from Vanessa Ambriz, who scored nine points.

San Luis struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Skyline pulled down 17 offensive rebounds.

Skyline's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-11. As for San Luis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline will take on Mesa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mesa has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for San Luis, they will head out on the road to challenge Cibola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
