Volleyball Recap: Catholic - N.I.'s Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Catholic - N.I. had lost seven straight, but after bumping their record up to 8-11 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights with a sharp 3-0 win. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10th (when they won 3-0).

Gracie Neck had a dynamite game, getting 19 digs and two aces. Those 19 digs gave her a new career-high.

As for Lafayette Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since September 18th.

Despite the loss, Lafayette Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Molly Benoit, who had 19 digs and three aces.

Looking ahead, Catholic - N.I. will square off against Cecilia at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lafayette Christian Academy, they will challenge Rayne at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
