Football Recap: Darrell Tucker and Denario Bass Pace Jim Hill Defense

Jim Hill extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. They lost to the Provine Rams at home by a 21-2 margin. The Tigers were down 21-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Even if they lost, Jim Hill's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Darrell Tucker and Denario Bass, who racked up four sacks between them. Tucker has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last five times he's played.

Provine's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Looking ahead, Jim Hill will head out on the road to face off against Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Provine, they will host Murrah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
