Softball Recap: Goshen RedHawks vs. Wawasee Warriors
There's no place like home for Goshen, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Wawasee Warriors on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the RedHawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Abi Blankenship was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off 11 hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high.
Blankenship wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Emily Diaz, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs Diaz has posted since back in April.
Goshen's record is now 5-16. As for Wawasee, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-18.
