After losing to Northern York the last time they met, Greencastle-Antrim decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Blue Devils walked away with an 8-3 win over the Polar Bears on Monday.

Kiersten Swain spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Greencastle-Antrim let Caroline Logsdon and Meadow Gambacurta run wild. Logsdon went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Gambacurta went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Zhen Reuter, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Greencastle-Antrim's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Northern York, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greencastle-Antrim will square off against West Perry at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Northern York, they will face off against Shippensburg at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
