Volleyball Recap: Channel Islands Raiders vs. Carpinteria Warriors

The Channel Islands Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Carpinteria Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Channel Islands was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Frank Vallin paced Channel Islands' offense, picking up 18 kills. Vallin got some help from Daniel Miranda and his 48 assists. Finally, Angel Saavedra kept Channel Islands' defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.
