Volleyball Recap: Meridian Takes Down Cedar Park Christian in a Playoff Battle

Meridian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Cedar Park Christian Eagles on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meridian's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Cedar Park Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 24-6-3 record.

Coming up, Meridian will square off against La Center at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cedar Park Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
