Volleyball Recap: Kamiak's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Kamiak unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Lake Stevens Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 2nd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-10.

Leading Lake Stevens to victory were Audrey Iseminger and Katya Vladyko. Iseminger had 15 digs and two assists, while Vladyko had six digs. Taylor Bayley also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Kamiak's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Lake Stevens, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kamiak is set to square off against their familiar foe Glacier Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lake Stevens will take on rival Cascade at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
