Basketball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Takes a Loss

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sharyland Rattlers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-45 back in December of 2024.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Sharyland, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-18.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial will venture away from home to face off against Rowe at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rowe knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial likes a good challenge. As for Sharyland, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 7:30 p.m.
