Softball Recap: Archie Whirlwinds vs. Kingsville Tigers
Archie made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Kingsville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Whirlwinds blew past the Tigers 14-4 on Wednesday. For the Whirlwinds, this counts as revenge for the 12-2 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.
Kyleigh Wilson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Wilson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
