Basketball Recap: Sterling Starts Season with Loss at Home

Sterling unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Sacred Heart Irish on Friday, falling 70-19. The Jets have struggled against the Irish recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Sterling wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-25 defeat against Exeter-Milligan/Friend on the 10th. Sacred Heart has also already played their next contest, a 38-33 win against Lourdes Central Catholic on the 10th.
