Basic waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Eldorado Firehawks with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-16.

Elias Ramos paced Basic's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ramos got some help from Derek Dennett and his 18 assists. Tyrus Worley controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Basic's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Eldorado, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, Basic and Eldorado will both be playing Somerset Sky Pointe the next time they take the court. The Firehawks will head out to face the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wolves will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
