Baseball Recap: MISL CTX Crusaders vs. Allegiance Lions
MISL CTX proved they can win big last Friday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Allegiance Lions 8-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-7 back in February.
TJ Staley made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
