Volleyball Recap: Northwest Christian Takes Down Evergreen Lutheran in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northwest Christian walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Evergreen Lutheran Eagles 3-2 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

Northwest Christian was led to victory by Yulianna Espinoza and Katherine Armour. Espinoza had nine digs and two assists, while Armour had 13 assists and three digs. Armour is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Northwest Christian's victory bumped their record up to 25-6. As for Evergreen Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-8.

Coming up, Northwest Christian will head out to face off against Mary Walker at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Evergreen Lutheran, they will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Valley Christian at 8:00 a.m.
