Baseball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Paulsboro on Friday, Clayton came back down to earth. The Clippers came up short against the Woodstown Wolverines on Monday, falling 9-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Clippers in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost eight in a row.

Clayton's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Woodstown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clayton will challenge Camden County Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodstown, they will face off against Delran at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
