Volleyball Game Preview: Goddard Rockets vs. Albuquerque Academy Chargers

The Goddard Rockets will take on the Albuquerque Academy Chargers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Goddard will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Goddard is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Hope Christian as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Albuquerque Academy faced Silver in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Chargers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fighting Colts. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Fighting Colts recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Goddard's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Albuquerque Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 20-7.

Goddard suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Albuquerque Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can the Rockets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
