Volleyball Recap: Walnut Grove Extends Winning Streak to Three

Walnut Grove waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the George Walton Academy Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Warriors' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

While Walnut Grove won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23.

Walnut Grove's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for George Walton Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Walnut Grove and George Walton Academy will both be playing Social Circle the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Redskins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
