Rancho Cotate came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Windsor Jaguars a 6-0 shutout. While the Cougars didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-11-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Rancho Cotate's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. In that department, Abby Ramirez was the leader with two sacks.

Rancho Cotate's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Windsor, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
