Volleyball Game Preview: Pacheco Panthers vs. Central Valley Hawks

The Pacheco Panthers will square off against the Central Valley Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pacheco has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 22.

Pacheco came up short against Lathrop on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

While Pacheco was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lathrop's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-11, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Central Valley had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Grace Davis 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hawks have posted since April 24, 2024.

Central Valley was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-23, 25-26, 25-16, 15-9.

Central Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Pacheco, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
