Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Booker T. Washington). They came out on top against the Tate Aggies by a score of 72-62 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats who have now won three games in a row.

Booker T. Washington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adam Griffin, who posted ten points. Keylon Williams was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 10 points.

When it comes to explaining why Tate lost, don't look at Jaquan Mcdonald. Despite the final result, he put up 25 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Those 25 points gave Mcdonald a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Cooper, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards.

Booker T. Washington's record now sits at 5-1. As for Tate, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Pensacola the next time they take the court. Booker T. Washington will host Pensacola at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Tate will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
