Foran won the last time they faced Sheehan and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lions had just enough and edged out the Titans 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Foran was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 24-26, 17-25, 26-24, 15-12.

Aubrey Pippa paced Foran's offense, picking up 17 kills. Pippa got some help from Nyah Boromei and her 30 assists. Boromei was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Foran's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Sheehan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Foran is set to square off against their familiar foe Law at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Sheehan will take on rival North Haven at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
